Its possible this latest Sonae fire was one which smoldered away for a while. There's so much smoke coming out of this Toxic dump that you may miss a small fire. Sonae spoke of being open but we ALL know its not the reality of their relationship with the local community. Sonae use us the way in which Union Carbide used the people of India. Were all expendable. The Council and those who got the Sonae contracts are a very small minority. most of us just got screwed pure and simple. you can heap a wheel-barrow load of spin-doctored bullsh** on this one but Knowsley Council cannot deny one plain fact. They bought in a firm notorious for polluting the environment to an area plauged with Ill health due to respitory diseases. This is a Council which is supposed to look after our interests. You know and I know that the only Interests they look after are their own. Word to the wise: Stop voting Labour. They are as bent as the Tories ever were. more so in fact, they've had a long time to carve up Kirkby and cover each others tails.
